Free accommodation hosting travelers

Looking for free accommodation hosting travelers? The Nomad BnB Club's planned answer is an exchange of hospitality: welcome a member, earn club nights, and use those nights at other club homes. The club is currently waitlist-only. This is not an offer of a free room today, and no stays can be booked yet.

What free means in this exchange

The site describes a model where no money changes hands between members. One night hosted earns one club night. Hosting a week earns a week, and earned nights can be spent at any club home rather than only with the person you hosted. The exchange is measured in nights of hospitality, not a cash payout.

That is different from accommodation with nothing expected in return. You are sharing a space and taking on the responsibilities of a host. Club nights have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred for money, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Cancelled or disputed stays may not earn nights. Read How it works for the intended model.

Know what you are signing up for

An invite request puts you on a waitlist, not into a booked home. Approval is not guaranteed. The site is only collecting invite requests and host interest while hosting, invite codes, and the member directory wait for trust and safety review. There are no live bookings to claim from this guide or from the forms.

The founding locations named on the site are Texas, Florida, Boston, Albania, and Yunnan, China. They describe where the first club doors will open; they are not current availability. The plan allows nights to circulate around the network, so members do not have to arrange a direct two-house exchange to use earned nights.

Hospitality comes with responsibilities

Hosts must describe their spaces honestly, including shared areas, pets, and stairs. They are responsible for a clean, safe, working space and for checking lease, HOA, and local hosting permissions. Applicable taxes and insurance remain their responsibility. The club connects members, rather than taking over the obligations attached to someone's home.

Members must be at least eighteen and pass ID verification. Hosts and guests will review each other after stays, and the code of conduct requires respect for house rules and privacy. No parties, discrimination, harassment, or illegal activity. The Rules and Host Agreement explain these expectations before you offer a room or request an invite.

A practical next step

If the exchange suits you, request an invite and tell us how you travel, why you want to join, and whether you would host. Remote workers, retirees, people between jobs, and other travelers have options on the form. If you have a space, register host interest with a city-only introduction. Never include your full address in that form.
