Home swap for digital nomads

A home swap for digital nomads should start with hospitality, not a scramble to match calendars. The Nomad BnB Club is building members-only home sharing for slow travelers. Right now, it is a waitlist: invite requests and host interest are open, while hosting and booking come after trust and safety review.

Hospitality goes around the club

The planned exchange is simple: one night hosted earns one club night. Those nights are not tied to the person you welcomed. You will be able to spend them at any club home in the network. That makes this a club-wide exchange rather than a promise that two people must stay in each other's homes.

No money changes hands between members. Club nights have no cash value and cannot be sold or redeemed for cash. Hosting is the way to earn them; submitting a waitlist form does not create nights, a membership, or a booking. The full exchange model is set out on our How it works page.

Remote workers, slow travelers, good guests

The invite form asks how you travel, with options for remote workers, retirees, people between jobs, and other travelers. It also asks why you want to join and whether you would host. You do not need to pretend your life fits one neat travel label. Tell us about your situation and your interest in the club.

Founding club homes are listed in Texas, Florida, Boston, Albania, and Yunnan, China. These are the places named on the site, not an invitation to book them today. The member directory, invite-code signup, and hosting will open after review. There is no booking calendar to browse at this stage.

Trust before keys

The club's intended rules include government ID verification before hosting or staying, and reviews from both hosts and guests after each stay. IDs are checked, not shown to other members. Reviews are published together to avoid retaliatory reviewing. Every approved member receives three invite codes for people they would vouch for.

Read the Club rules before deciding whether this kind of exchange suits you. Respect for house rules, privacy, and honest descriptions matters on both sides of the door. To take the next step, request an invite. If you also have a space to share, the host interest form is open separately.

Frequently asked questions

Can I book a home swap now?

No. The site currently collects invite requests and host interest only. Hosting, booking, and the member directory open after review.

Must I stay with the person I hosted?

No. The planned club nights can be spent at any club home, rather than only with the member you hosted.

How are club nights earned?

One night hosting a member earns one club night. Cancelled or disputed stays may not earn nights.

Does requesting an invite guarantee membership?

No. A request puts you on the waitlist. It does not guarantee an invite, membership, or a booking.

Who can I invite later?

Every approved member receives three invite codes. The club asks members to invite people they would vouch for.
